Cybersecurity Internship Opportunity: Digital Forensics and SOC
We are offering an internship opportunity in cybersecurity for candidates interested in developing practical skills in two key areas: Digital Forensics and Security Operations Center SOC analysis. This internship provides hands-on exposure to security incident detection, digital evidence analysis, security alert monitoring, log review, attack techniques, and incident response processes in a professional training environment.
Training Areas:
Cybersecurity and digital forensics fundamentals
Security incident analysis and digital evidence collection
System, network, and log analysis
Security alert monitoring in a SOC environment
Introduction to SIEM tools and threat intelligence concepts
Technical reporting and documentation
Incident response lifecycle
Requirements:
Student or fresh graduate in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Basic knowledge of networking and operating systems
Strong interest in digital forensics or SOC operations
Ability to learn independently, research, and analyze information
Good reporting and documentation skills
Commitment to attendance and assigned training tasks
Basic familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Splunk, Autopsy, or FTK Imager is preferred
Introductory cybersecurity certifications or courses such as Security+ or equivalent are preferred

Internship Details:
- Work location: Al Suwaiq, Oman
- Working days: Sunday to Thursday
- Working hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Break time: 45 minutes for prayer or lunch
- Training duration: Minimum of one month, with the possibility of extension
- Monthly allowance: OMR 100
